i have a 351w and i am doing a rebuild! i have a 408 stroker kit and i need to know if i need to do any block clearencing? can you help me????

you will need to bore it over .30 to be a true 408. if the pistons came in the kit, they are for a 351 bored .30. the kit sould tell you if clearencing is needed, but all of the ford stroker kits i've looked at have not said anything about clearencing, were as the chevy 383 stroke kits say you do. though i have not do a stroker myself yet. got a 302 waiting to be bumped up to 347( never have time to work on my own stuff).
