I have an 83 full size Bronco with a I-6cyl. I am swaping that out with a 5.0 from a Mustang. I have pretty much everything figured out exept my cluch linkage. The trans. is a manual made by New Process. The existing linkage bolted to the engine and pivoted to the cluch fork. On the new engine.... no such hole. I figured that mabey i could use some 1 x 1/4in. strap and hook in to the bellhousing and mabey use that for a piviot point. Also will i be able to use a mustang cluch?

Don't try to strap it - it wouldn't last, and might cause severe damage to the bellhousing, block, crankshaft, &/or transmission.

While it's possible to drill & tap the hole in the block (I did), I highly recommend finding an '83-91 bolt-on bellhousing with provision for an external hydraulic slave cylinder. For more info, click my black Bronco in my sig & look in the Hydraulic Clutch album.

Use an 11" truck clutch.
