Question 85 Bronco Dead Cylinder???

I have an 85 Bronco 4x4...5.0 EFI. I have a rough running ride, so decided to try the old "pull the wire off while its running" trick. Well...Turns out that #7 is NOT firing. there is spark from the wire, but the plug isn't firing. Now....These are new plugs, wires, rotor, and cap. What next?? Should I try to DECREASE the gap in plug #7??

I have bought new plugs that were bad, right out of the box. New wires can also have breaks in them, inside the insulation.

I would put in a new plug, and also a new wire. Even though the wire shows a spark, it may have enough resistance in it to keep the plug from firing. If you have an ohmmeter, you can check it.

Good luck.

Hey....Fixed the prob. Turns out that the #7 injector...the wires which go to the plug were frayed and burnt up. I taped the wires together, and got it goin again...sounds beautiful....thanx for the help anyway.
