87 Starting Problems
My 87 351 starts good, runs good but now when I stop it will not re-start unless I wait 20-60 minutes. Cranks strong. Suddenly it just starts normally and seems to be fine until the next day. It used to just stop running while I was driving in cold weather--turned out to be the float needed adjusting I was told. Same hard start unless I pumped gas pedal while coasting. Can I have vapor lock in colder weather? Somehow gas doesn't get to the carb for a while and even starter fluid doesn't work. Yesterday I walked after 2 hours. Any ideas? PO disconnected so many hoses and whatnot no one wants to work on it even tho it runs great when it starts. Help!
