96 bronco w/351 missing

I am new to this forum but I have a 96 bronco with a 351, at speeds when not under power I get a stumbling. This does not happen uner a load. Otherwise power and mileage is great. Installed Jacobs Pro street and plugs ect. did not change. No codes on scan. Any ideas? Thanks

Re: 96 bronco w/351 missing

Since there are no codes on scan I would then look at doing the following....

1. Check the fuel injectors to be sure one is not hanging open or leaking. (This problem will give you issues at low RPM at first, then affecting the entire range)

2. Check fuel pump pressure and fuel pressure regulator. (A faulty FP can cause a similar issue that you are having, gradually working its way up to affecting the entire RPM range.)

3. Check the voltage generated by the oxygen sensor; the range should be .5 to 3 volts.

4. Do a compression check.

5. Check for vacuum leaks around the intake manifold and hoses.

These are but a few of the things I would check.

Re: 96 bronco w/351 missing

This may sound lefted handed. But My 90 Bronco was doing the stumble and loss of power. Never would completely die. Finally found a problem with the ground wires.
Help this helps
