confused Bronco 11 plus?

Can anyone provide info on the Bronco II plus? I only ever seen 2 of them. There is one for sale nearby for $500. Its not too bad of shape either. And they are definately unique. I tried searching for info have found nothing.

Thanks!

It seems that Dodge Durangos' have the Plus package, But I suppose that plus package in a BroncoII comes with optional items that any other BroncoII can't get. That's what I assume.

I would like to know if it was a factory option. It appears to be a separate fiberglass top. Anyone know? Any other info?

Really, a separate topper? That is rare for Bronco IIs. If it has a number on the for sale sign, call the own and ask what the spec. are because I'm curious now to what it has for the package.

Bronco II Plus

Hi,
I just joined this forum a couple of days ago in hopes of finding some info on the same subject. I just bought a 1986 Plus for $1500.00. I live in Maine and also have never seen one like it.
I contacted the Ford Company and they are sending me some literature about the Bronco II Plus.
The owner's manual did come with the truck when I bought it so I was able to learn a lot about it that way. Mine is an '86 and the Ford Company was able to tell me that they only made 119,564 of the 4x4's and only 25 of the 4x2's that year. If you can buy one for $500.00 and fix it up, you just might have something that will be worth something down the road.
Ford also gave me this info if you want to get more info.

Should you require further assistance with this matter, we recommend
contacting the National Automotive History Collection (NAHC), maintained
by the Detroit Public Library. They are able to research and provide
historical information on Ford vehicles and products and as such, may be
able to assist with your inquiry. Please contact the NAHC directly at:
