Question buying tips?.?.?

I currently am driving a 84 Cj-7 for my toy, however I need something that I can get down the road good and ride a trail. Can some of you people give me some tips on what to look for in a bronco. I want a 90-96 full size in good working condition. What are some things that I can ask or look for when buying a bronco. Also, let me know some websites that cater to bronco owners, there are tons for jeep owners, there have to be some for you guys. Thanks, soon to be bronco owner.

Question

Also, what engine is better, are there different driveline angles, and is the eddie bauer edition purely cosmetic (is it worth it)?

Stay away from Eddie Bauer editions, all they are is cosmetic. Find a XL or XLTs they're less of a problem, 90-96 have their problems but it is no problem. For real an '88 XLT are worth it.

yo,
Besides the usual visual, driveability and leak checks, look for:
oil pan rust
radiator plastic side seam leaks esp. during engine cool-down period/overnight
auto tranny and transfer case operation (the XL's and I believe some XLT's have the manual Xfer case lever); electric push button is a prob. area
auto hub operation (get it in sand or mud and try the 4x4 system)
rust in inner rear fender lips and bottom of tailgate
