Ecu

I have a 95, 5.8 bronco. My ecu is cutting out! Bronco won't start a lot of the time!
I need a f5tf-12a650-BYA unit
I see a lot of bxa units!! Can I also use one of those?

Re: Ecu

How do you know it's the ECU? Have you checked fuel pressure and spark when it won't start/ Does it show any codes?

Re: Ecu

It's happened before! Exactly same thing! Won't turn over, when it does sometimes it just dies while driving! The one I replaced the old one with lasted 3 yrs! ALL perfect! It's starting again! Ford dealership told me! Of course they don't stock them anymore!!!!

Re: Ecu

Looking to purchase another bronco, don't want to over pay. Any thoughts on a 94 with low miles ? Clean no rust ! Price range thoughts?

Re: Ecu

Hard to give a price. It depends on location really. I'm in rust belt so a clean bronco is worth more than if I was in sunny Arizona. Look around at local pricing to help

Re: Ecu

If you can secure the money ahead of time, e-bay has some pretty good deals. It was cheaper for me to by a truck out of Colorado and ship it to NY rather than buying one in the condition mine is up here.

Ever notice that there's so many high performance parts available for GM products?

Did you ever think that maybe they NEED them?
