hello my bronco-driving brethren- I've got a problem that I'm sure is simply fixed, but I don't know how to even buy the part because I don't kwow what it's called. My truck is leaking fuel from a circular black box behind the in-line fuel pump, all the hoses are tightly fitted and there doesn't seem to be anything loose or cracked, so it's kinda weird. I was going to replace the part but like i said, i don't know what it's called. I lost my haynes manual and no one I have talked to seems to know what it is. Anyone who can tell me?

My guess is that its some sort of fuel pressure regulator. I think you also have a pump in the tank and the pressure coming from the tank to the inline pump may need to be reduced....???? Without seeing it or knowing what year/motor your bronco is Im just guessing here.

If all else fails, pull the part and take it to ford. They'll tell you what it is and quote you some outrageous price on a replacement. :-)
