I haven't run my Bronco much since i got it. I think the fuel gauge is stuck. So far I put at least $10 worth of gas in it and the gauge moves but it won't go above the E. How can i check to see whats wrong?? How much do those tanks hold? Any Idea how much reserve is built into those tanks?

I don't know how big the tank is in my 89' but the most I've ever put in was 32.7 gallons.

Tomahawk, chances are, it's the sender unit in the tank. The variable resistor wears out in them. Take the two wires going to the sender and jumper them together. If the gauge goes to full, then the gauge is OK, and the sender is the problem.
