Question heat riser valve problems

I have a cracked exhaust manifold and am ready to replace it with headers. The only problem is it appears that he heat riser valve is made to attach to the flat manifold and my headers are of course no flat for the pipe flange. I need to figure out how to reattache the current valve or purchase one that can replace it. It's a 1986 Bronco 351W 5.8L.
