I have just purchased an 88 Bronco II and I am not getting it to charge, this is the 4th attempt at changing the alternator, changed out the starter relay motor, runs great it just drains the battery. New battery and terminals and new plugs into alternator. DId all the tests in Chilton's book, and they all passed, please help. IC3stick.
If anyone has a similar problem, It was easily fixed by jumping the yellow wire with a white stripe to the black and orange wires. Apparently there was a voltage loss problem, hard to troubleshoot, but easy to fix, thank you to anyone who gave it a thought. Sincerely IC3Stick.
