Re: ignition switch problems

check your starter solenoid. If you turn the key and nothing happens that could be why. And if your solenoid is screwed up, that could be whats eatin your starters up. I had a solenoid go out on my bronco and it screwed my starter up too. Replaced them both and was fine after that......Hope this helps

Re: ignition switch problems

thanx for all your help but i found on my own that somehow the ignition switch connector had been completely removed from the wiring harness except for the piece that runs into the fire wall i went out and bought a 40 amp circut breaker and some 12 gauge wire and rigged my own wires and sure enough all power was in the car but thanx again for your help i checked what you wrote and indeed it was grounding but it was my lack of patience with this truck that had me overlooking were my ignition switch was supposed to get the power... thanx again you helped alot
