My 88 Bronco Wont start an I am out of Ideas PLEASE HELP!!!!
I have a 1988 Ford Bronco that I took muddin the other day. I had got into quite a bit of water an it stalled the engine out. I checked the intake an it was completley dry so no water got into the engine. I pulled the plugs off the distributer cap an saw water so i blew them out an put them back on. I pulled the distributer cap off an it was clean an dry on the inside. After I put everything back on she fired right up an I was able to go on home. I parked it back in the parkin lot an went to start it the next day an it was like the battery was dead, it would barley turn the motor over. I had the battery, altenator, and starter tested and they all tested good. I replaced the selenoid on the fender just for good measure. I ended up getting a new starter thinking the other one didnt work right under a load an I still have the same problem. I have cleaned all the connections between the battery, solenoid, and the starter and I still can't get it to start. The Battery has a voltage reading of 12.33 volts and all the battery cables are new. I am out of Ideas on what to do.......Can somebody PLEASE help me figure out whats going on? Thanks
