I'm assuming that by "V" carb you mean that lousy "Varible Venturi"
Contact your Ford Dealer. They supply a 2 bbl conversation kit. It supplies everything you need including the "EGR" W/plate and vaccum scematic's to make the switch. I have ran into this before.
What change's are you considering? Or are you going to restore it?

Personally I think that's a wise decision. It generally cost's less to restore an older truck if it's already in fairly good shape. With a few mod's to personalize it your ready.
I'm attempting to redo a 77 F100, but with my medical problem it's slow going.

Hopefully you recieved my P.M. In it I let you know that Ford no longer stock's that conversion. It was taken over by Holley.
Holley part number #1-591 is the carb
Ford part number# D84Y-9B989-A is the TPS

Thumbs up

Hi Shovelhead I just bought an 88 Bronco and I am also redoing it. I am doing the body work next month not much to do to it just a few surface dings. I want to put the newer style door on.My currant doors have about a quarter inch of bondo on them also instead of having the truck mirrors I want the smaller ones that blend in a bit better. So just thought I would say good luck.
