old bronco want new engine

hey i've got an 89 fullsize bronco with a blown engine. thinking about swaping to 7.3l diesel so i can burn my own bio-diesl fuel. any ideas?

That engine is far too heavy to run in a half ton truck.........you would need to convert to 3/4 ton suspension.

I hav an 87 bronco that i fitted with a 5.4 from an e250 works great as for above suggestion I would have to agree heavier suspension and running gear would be a good idea would make a badass truck though.
