security system

my 89 bronco has a small black box onthe right side of the steering wheel with a key.i know its for the security system but i dont know how to take it out or anything.all i know is the system when armed locks the hood down and kills the ignition.the key is short and black with slots and a small hole in it.any help would be greatly appreciated.

any manufacturer's name on it or ob bcak/inside cover? Can u unscrew the box ro view the back?

try Bulldog's wiring diagram; can look at your yr for some info on how it is wired; then you can figure out what to do, since most firms wire sim.;

all i know about it is that its made by maxi-lok.other then that idk
i cant find a diagram any where
