soft top conversion on 84 broncoII - Ford Forums

has anyone out there cut the top off there bronco II and made it into a soft top? i want to do this to mine and i need to know if there is a soft top kit somewhere out there to buy or do i have to get a custom one

so far the closest i can find it a kit for a 77 u will have to do some slight mod. to canopy but it looks
it will work.biggest issue is tailgate
i cant find just the tailgat

My suggestion is to look at a Jeep Wrangler, see how that was built. You try to mount a tailgate from a ranger. The dimensions must be same. Also invest in repair manuals, they always do the trick when it comes to putting something together.
