Can you clarify what you said about the fuel pump staying on?
As gearhead says of course it will run continuously while the engine is running or being cranked. The EEC looks for a PIP signal from the distributor and if it's not there it turns the fuel pump off.

Pete.

I have changed the BP Senor but I have bought it from the junk-yard. Maybe I should buy a new one...

Why don't you try the ones you have on someone elses' car first?
You didn't say what the condition of the MAP sensor tubing was like? Sometimes the rubber ends of the tubing will split where it attaches to the intake manifold.

Is it possible that you damaged the MAP sensor wiring when the trans wiring did the wrap around the tailshaft trick? I see on the wiring diagram that SIG RTN(pin 46) and VPWR(pin 37&57) travel down to the transmission.
Check that you have VREF(5V) and SIG. RTN(ground) on the MAP sensor connector and check that pin 45 on the EEC connects to the centre pin of the MAP connector.

Pete.
