hello,
i want to go up to 33" tires on my 83 bronco. suspension is stock and i currently run 31's with 3.55 gears.

so far i have been to a couple of 4x4 "specialists" and they range from about $1500 out the door for a complete 4" suspension lift to just changing to higher front coils and add a leaf rears for about $400-$500.

my offroading is light but that is quite a range as to what i "need".

what do you guys think? coil and leafs is a loooot cheaper....

Then dont do a lift :)

a buddy of mine has an stock 87 with 33's, and they way he offroads, i would know if his tires rubbed on anything.
Of course, you could just do a 2 or 3 inch body lift, would be alot cheaper, too.....

Gonna do a 2-3" lift and then see what fits! (33's will for sure but I am hoping maybe 35's will).... :)

i have an 88 with a 3" body lift and 33's. Excluding some tire rub on the radius arms, i am beyond-a-doubt confident i can fit 35's

33s will fit under a stock ford bronco body, 80-86 style, with the 15x10 rims, a body lift might be good to go with, but be careful, cause they raise your center of gravity, and sometimes that isnt a very good idea, cause you can get "hindsighted" as my buddies and i like to put it, and roll very easy.
