VIN decoding

Just need a hand working out my "VIN" number for my '84 Bronco. I know somethings not quite right.

AL1TCT94738K

It's the same on both (VIN & Cert.) plates, besides all the engine, trim, paint, trans info.
The VIN plate it is stamped 12/84. I'm the second owner from 1991.

Beer O'Clock now. Cheers !
