if anyone wants to race my green machine... a 96 Bronco... just tell me. It goes 0-60 in under 5! I did some mods....lol. I have won some local races around were i live and want to see how yall woud do. Thx
Some pics and some engine specs would be nice. It's hard to imagine a full size Bronco with a 0-60 time under 5 seconds. It would take 600-700 hp to do it considering how heavy these beasts are. It would be quite an accomplishment that's for sure. Call me a skeptic, but I need some details!

hey, how i did it was i first swaped the orginal bronco engine out. It wasn't working when i first tryed the 0-60 time. I had to find another engine... i had a v10 or v12 in mine at first. After doing the search, i choose a v12 turbo disel charged engine. its horsepower is around 600 or so. i also had to clean out the inside b/c the v12 is bigger then the v8. i also put a some nas in my bronco. With all this upgrades, u can see how i got to 0-60 in under 5. I will post pics later..... i have to download them to my computer from the digital camera. Hope this helps. Also, i can help anyone who wants to do the same to their bronco.

A V12 turbo diesel in a Bronco? This I have to see. They use turbocharged V12 diesels in tractor pull vehicles and other large 18 wheeler type applications but have never heard of anyone doing such a swap. I believe BMW has also tinkered around with their own V12 diesel engine application but nothing has made it to production as far as I know.
What tranny are you running? No stock tranny could hold up to the torque generated by a 600 hp V12 diesel engine. The torque figures would be well above 1000 ft-lbs.....far too much for any Ford tranny to handle without substantial modification.

hey, sorry for not posting the pics any sooner.... i have been racing the green machine lately and forgot that everyonrone wanted to c the pics. Well, i will post them tomorrow after i get out of school, which is around 2:45 or so. So i hope yall enjoy!

Sam, I was wondering if you were aware that our E430 0-60s in about 5.8 ... just considering the reaction when I 0-60ed it for you ... does the bronco really do it in 4.9 or less?
