When I hook my trailer up the left turn signal & brake light does not work on the trailer but it does on the truck. I know the trailer works properly as when it is hooked to my buddy's truck all lights work properly. Is ther a possible short in my wiring? I have the towing package and the wiring appears to be free of cuts & kinks. Does anybody have a wiring diagram?

I am having the same issue, I understand there is some sort of fuse to power to 7 pin connector that is needed before this works? My 7 pin has no power to it, anyone know about this?

I found out there was no power to the 7 pin itself. Ford wanted 95 for the part , plus an hour of labor at 70 bucks. I found it at NAPA, almost exact fit and paid 30 for it, plus it has a 4 pin on it as well. It is a plugin part so no sweat to install.
The Brake controller and everything else work great now ..

next I am adding a trans temp gauge.
