My wife's 2001 Taurus gauge lights are out. It started with the lights being out and both turn signals illuminated. At first the lights would go on right away (and the turn signal arrows would go out). It gradually took longer and longer for the lights to come on. They no longer come on. The other lights, climate, radio, etc all work. Any ideas as to the cause?

could just be a fuse problem
