JS_bethlehem Registered User Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Bethlehem, PA. Age: 66 Posts: 5	02 throttle position sensor removal I need to change the tp sensor on my 02 Taurus 12V engine. Can't seem to get the bottom screw out. If anyone has done this sucessfully without removing the throttle body, please let me know how you did it. What tools did you use? I have read that the two phillips screws are installed with locktite. I got the top one out with a visegrip, but can't get the tool on the lower one due to not enough clearance. Whomever thought locktiting a phillips head screw was a good idea is an idiot.
