Hi, my car is 04 ford taurus se. the car can not start. When i use cable and other's car to start it, the car show "check charging system". My major is generator design. I have do some check on car. the battery is ok. I think the the alternator is the problem. maybe the excitation coil of alternator does not work or the excitation circuit does not work.

Is there someone who know the structure and information of the alternator and where the excitation circuit is.
