05 Bronze Bull Clockspring...
Research has led me to believe that the clock spring in my 05 SEL is AFU. Though the symptoms I’m experiencing are "clock spring" related their just not enough to warrant R&R....yet. Before I do swap it out I need to ask you guys and get your opinion...
Is it clock spring?
1: Speed Control will not engage. Also, no Speed Control light in dash cluster on start up.
2: Airbag light flashes. It’s a Code 19 :-( No crashes or airbag deployments (that I know of) that would induce this code which means "crash data memory full".
3: Appropriate fuses all check good
So the last step in the process of elimination I need to satisfy is "Horn". And this is where my "it’s the clock spring" conclusion is muddied. The horn works as advertised! Loud and clear at the slightest push... so either I have continuity at the horn but nowhere else? Or the cruise and airbag are unrelated and coincidently broken at the same time.... the future of my factory installed clock spring rests on the input of all of you. Thanks
