1992 SHO Stopped and wont start - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

The other day, my AC, ALT belt idle pulley started to migrate off..cut the belt and some of it was still in place but a part came off it wrapped around crank pulley.

I disassembled and removed the crank pulley and removed all the wound up belt behind the pulley. the lower timing cover was damaged and i had to replace it. I looked over the crank position sensor.and wiring..and it all looked good. Any ideas why she wont start.

Checked your getting a spark ?

Yes...spark at plug and fuel at the rail... it seems that the injectors are not opening...what drives that?

Back to troubleshooting...

Pulled a plug...wet and smells of fuel. Connected to wire...cranked and there is a good spark off the plug... just cranks...not even a pop... needs some help...
