1995 Taurus (To buy or not?) - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

My girlfriend's Grandfather is selling a 1995 Taurus. It has 123k miles on it, but I really believe that he has taken good care of it. He has changed the oil, and replaced a few parts (starter, alternator, got tranny serviced and bands adjusted). I was wondering if there is anything that I should look for when I check it out. The interior is immaculate, and the car seems very well taken care of. Any advice would be very appreciated. Thanks.

I would definately have an interest in it if I ran into something like that. Yeah it does have alot of miles but as long as it was taken care it will take care of you. There shouldnt be too many things that would go wrong with it. Mainly the tranny would be the biggest problem you would have.....thats if it does have any problems. Dont think that I am saying that the tranny will go out. Im just saying that would be the one "major" problem that you would have. So....if you want it then definately go for it!!!!!!!

Thank you 98, I am pretty interested. By the way your car is awesome, I have seen pics of it in another post. I always thought that a v8 is definately cool in a car like that.
