1998 Taurus-Fluid Leak

There appears to be a fluid leak behind the drivers side front tire. It does not appear to be transmission fluid (red) or oil (black). The power sterring fluid is a little low but that is on the other side. Any thoughts?

There could be a power steering filter right where you describe the leak. Power steering fluid can be clear. The filter, if you have one, is in front of the front left wheel up in the frame connected by rubber hose. They leak.

Another way to get to the source is to grab some UV dye. Add a bit to the PS fluid as you know it could use a top up anyway. Get a UV light bulb (a buck or so) at a store and if it glows in the light you know the problem.
