1999 Taurus door wiring assembly - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

I am replacing the driver side fron door of my 99 Taurus wagon and are stuck at the point how to detach the wiring assembly coming from the car body. The Haynes manual says to remove the rubber boot and losen the screw to pull out the lower assembly part. I pulled back the boot and there is no screw to lose. Afer inspection, I don't see any lead I could follow how to separate the lower and upper assembly parts to then take out the door. Does anybody have suggstions?

There is a plastic cap on top of the wiring elbow. Under this small cap is the bolt.

I found it. It looked like the whole asembly is one molded piece. Thanks a lot. Eddybal
