Hi all! It's been awhile since I've been here which is a good thing since my car has been good to me. My question is the 99 I have is in great shape, runs strong and has 78,000 miles. I have the Duratec engine and was wondering about new spark plugs and wires. I think they reccomend it at 100,000 miles but I was just wondering what a good set of plugs and wires would be besides Motorcraft and that will maybe boost the performance a little bit without costing an arm and a leg.

just go with the platinums at about 90,000
