I wish my Taurus would stop giving me technical/repair challenges!!!

Today the "door open" lamp along with the inside ceiling lamp came on with all the doors secured. Anyone ever have a similar problem? Any ideas where the "open door" sensors are located? I removed the ceiling lamp to prevent running the battery down.

The switches are on the door latches inside the doors.

Thanks Bert-- Great that Ford made these things accessable. Now I only need to rip the door panel off and hope I am going in the right direction. MOre later--

Spray some WD40 within the lock mechanisms, spray in there good then open and close the door a few times, that should fix your problem.

Very common issue.

I sprayed some PB Blaster into the suspect door (driver's), got into the car, closed the door and THE LIGHT WAS OUT!!!

Well, that certainly save me grief and hard work!!
