Can anyone tell me that my 99 Taurus SE 3.0V Vulcan uses timing chain or timing belt?

Another side question would be: has anyone had the engine ilde problem such as the RMP will fluctuate from 600 to 800 momentarily when stop for the red light? What might go wrong?

I looked up my owner's manual and couldn't find anything. Maybe I need to get a repair manual. Thanks a lot if you know and can share at this moment.

Ok, I'll share the moment with you. I went to auto zone's site, typed in your info, and they say you have a timing chain.
