1999 Taurus tires/rims fit on 2003?

Here's my dilemma. OK, it's not really a dilemma but it would be nice to get a solid yes, or no.

As I have sold my '99 Taurus, a co worker recently picked up a 2003 Taurus SEL.
Both cars use the same bolt pattern 5-108 - I checked.

My question is will my 15" rims fit over the brakes on the 2003 Taurus? The 2003 has 16" rims (no 15" was offered on any model that year). The tires on the 15" rims are roughly 1" smaller in diameter, and won't throw the speedo off too much, providing they fit. They have 2-3 winters left on them and trying to find a buyer for the rims/tires is trying my patience. I can't seem to get a definite answer. Thanks!

I'm not surprised. I tried to Google it and couldn't find anything on the brake size between the generations. The local shop here couldn't even say if the wheels would fit with certainty or not. Thanks Logan.
