2000 Ford Taurus shake in frontend; low speeds also
Hi guys. I am new to this site and I am hoping you can help me out. I have a 2000 Ford Taurus that has just hit the 100k mile mark. Recently, I noticed there was a little shake in the front end. My sons did a tire rotation for me and it seemed to solve the problem. A couple of weeks later, it was back. The other night, I took a short trip out of town and after driving at interstate speeds, when I got back into town, noticed that it was getting worse. As far as the interstate speeds, it doesn"t really seem to be any better or worse with increased speed. Maybe I just didn't notice, though and I haven't taken it back on the interstate since. Some thoughts were maybe a tire is out of round, lost balancing weights or front end alignment. Any idea where I should start? Thanks in advance for your help!!
