Greetings,

Just wanted to see if there was anyone with experience with replacing a rear window latch on a stationwagon?

I did a search of the forums and returned a zippo.

I guess its not that complicated once you remove the lift gate interior panel to access the latch mechanism which is (was) plastic and is the broken part.

I found a very poor assemply image on the Genuine Ford Parts site, does anyone have a link to a better image of the rear lift gates on 00-05 wagons?

Any input or advice on the repair would be appreciated.

Once you remove the rear panel, you will see it is not that hard to do. I did one in about 20 minutes.
