I'm just crossing t's and dotting I's by asking this. I'm assuming the sensor in the expansion tank is bad. the Car doesn't overheat, leak & not low on coolant but the low level light stays on. Is there a way to clean or just have to replace the tank as I can't find just the sensor
The sensor is in the bottom of the tank. I don't know if it's replaceable or not. In some cars you have to replace the tank. They aren't expensive though.
The Ford Replacement tank includes the sensor.
