I was told the Ignition coil to the #1 Cylinder needs changing misfire.. I would just want to know if that's a big job because my mechanic said it will take hours and cost $. It's a 24V engine. and also, it may be the injector so would it be best to buy a injector also and replace it with the coil.. I plan on only keeping this car until next year so can I get these parts used?

It is only a big job if you never removed the upper intake from a 24V engine since #1 is in the back on the left side (if standing in front of car).

You can't get it out by removing the R. side cowl? I don't know because my car is a 2001 and thats when Ford changed back to plug wires. All I had to do for the wires was remove the R. side of the cowl. The injector I would understand.
