My ac compressor locked up while driving so the belt broke, tried to drive it on home, but it ran hot and shut down. I had to have it towed the rest on the way home. I replaced the ac compressor and belt along with the battery. I am getting fire and gas, i also checked the fuel cut off switch and it is still activated. What else could it be.

How hot did it get? Does it crank over the same as before or a little faster.

It got very hot and shut down, it cranks a little faster

You might have internal engine damage. It doesn't take long without a cooling system to damage things. It needs to have a compression check to see what the readings are.

How can i check the compression? Would changing the sparkplugs and wires help?

I check the sparkplugs and found that some of them were wet it smelled like gas so i wiped them off and reset some of the gaps. Still won't start. Could inside where the sparkplug go still be wet, and if so how can they be dried out.

You need to do a compression test. I'd suggest a reputable shop in your area to see what happened if you don't have the equipment to do that. Running hot will do more damage than losing oil.

NO. You don't say what engine. Without seeiing the car and doing a compression test there is no way to tell. From what you have said you might want to look for another engine.
If it got as hot as you say the head and manifold gaskets are probably burned
away. If you have aluminum heads ( you don't say what engine ) they are
probably done too. Bottom line. The engine is finished if it got as hot as you say. It could run again but you just took 50,000 miles off your crank shaft and
bearings. I could be wrong but ?
