RSLT1 Registered User Join Date: Aug 2008 Posts: 1	2001 Rear Strut Removal, cant hold the shaft to get the nut off! I cannot for the life of me hold the shaft from not spinning to get the top nut off from inside. I tried vice grips but no luck!

With the strut in a strut/spring compressor and partially compressed use a 1/2 drive impact gun and socket. Be very careful!!! Make sure it's compressed safely.
