Can someone tell me how to identify which transmission I have? Door sticker was no help, area left blank.

If you can count pan bolts, you can identify:

AX4S = 17 BOLTS
AX4N = 19 BOLTS

Just look at the pan. Should have AXOD (AX4S) METRIC or AX4N(4F50N) METRIC stamped on it.

The pan is smooth, no markings at all. I'm needing to order a RF CV shaft and I hope to be able to look into it this weekend. Ball joint for that side is also bad so im gonna kill 2 birds with one stone.

You were right tbird, it was stamped on the pan. AXOD Metric...17 pan bolts

It's been awhile since I was under there & I coulda swore it was a smooth pan.
