Are you going by the check engine light or a scanner? Any idea what fuel pressure is? If pressure i around 45-50 and a scanner says no code, try a compression test or a block test.

Ever notice that there's so many high performance parts available for GM products?

Did you ever think that maybe they NEED them?

Question Re: 2002 ford taurus cranks but no start

Re: 2002 ford taurus cranks but no start

I just ran into the same problem for the second time. Each time the car somewhat wanted to start,,, it tries to start sometimes but never gets there.

My problem and maybe yours is the catalytic converters!!! They collapse internally and plug up the exhaust. Something for you to think about.

TBird-- he says he has good spark
