aripeny Registered User Join Date: May 2008 Posts: 1	2002 Taurus & Engine P1000 Code At wits end. I just had my engine replaced in 2002 Taurus wagon and my check engine light keeps coming on. Mechanic said P1000 code and I need to go to the dealer to have the sensor/computer fixed. I honestly don't want to spend any more $$ on the car. Is this something I should be concerned with or just learn to live with?

SHOZ123 NESHO SCT Tuner Join Date: Mar 2003 Location: Illinois Posts: 703	Re: 2002 Taurus & Engine P1000 Code P1000 will not set the light. P1000 means the OBDII drive cycle has not been completed. It will normally go away in a couple days of driving.
