I just bought a 2003 Ford Taurus SES and I'd like to be able to plug in my lap top or an iPod into it so I can listen to mp3's on the road. The stero has cd changer controls on it but I don't have a cd changer so I'm betting that I can use the cd changer input to do it. Does anyone know if there is an adapter I can get that will convert it to RCA inputs and how I would go about installing it?
I called Crutchfield and they said there wasn't such a converter but I'm still confident that there is something I can do. What I think I need now is a wiring diagram for the car and possibly a manual for the stereo.
