Will an aftermarket alternator NOT WORK or have issues with providing sufficient charging in a 2003 Taurus 3.0?

Is there ANY WRITE UP ABOUT THIS?

Correct replacement alternator for car shouldn't give any problems .

R.S...soo...to clarify...(don't know if you have Ford repair exp. and or knowledge) A good, correct for year make and model AFTERMARKET ALTERNATOR will work.

Dealer told my customer Ford had a notice out about 2003 Taurus being "incompatable" with aftermarket alternators...

Anyone with FORD exp. know if there is a bulletin?

AutoZone offers an alternator from someone other than Ford an alternator with a limited lifetime warranty for about $190. Don't know what's limited, but you can always ask.
