Hello! My car is having problems starting in the cold (and cold-starting in general now) and my dad says it might be because the intake manifold gasket needs replacing. I've been charged with finding out how to do this, and apparently the pictures in the repair manual we have don't actually match up with what the car looks like. Does anyone have any knowledge/suggestions? Thank you!
Agree with Bert. Also what motor is in the car? Could be the intake o-rings for the upper intake and if it's the 12 valve motor 05 had intake manifold runner control valve o-ring that likes to leak cold.
Possibly engine coolant temp sensor which lets the ecu know how much fuel to supply ? i.e more fuel on cold start .
