I have a 1992 Taurus SHO and I have a hesitation at low rpms. It's almost like it's choking itself out. I have a hard time starting off in 2nd gear unless I really give it throttle. I have changed the spark plugs, wires, ignition control module. I also tried sea foam in the upper half of the engine to try to break up some of the carbon. I have a 190,000 so I don't expect it to run perfect and really I don't get bad gas mileage. When I am running it hard it doesn't seem to have a problem.

Just wondering if anyone has had this problem or if anyone has any advice for me. Oh also at idle if you stand near the exhaust you can tell it is missing slightly. And also the plug boots are full of oil due to a leak in the head gasket around the wells......could this be a problem?? Thanks in advance for your help......Jeff
