93 Taurus stalling problem - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

This one has me stumped.
The car starts right up and idels fine. As soon as i press on the gas pedal it bogs down and wants to stall. If I let the pedal go it will go back to an idle and run fine. If I hold on the pedal it will stall. The only code was a bad TPS.
I changed that ad it still does it. It is giving me a system OK code now.
Changed the fuel filter, no change.
Any ideas??????

Forgot to mention it is a 3.0L V6.
and the is no check engine light on (it works too)

Check the fuel pump pressure. Also have seen this happen with clogged exhaust system too but that rarely happenes.

Checked fuel pressure and is 37psi at an idle.
I think that is in range for the car.
Cant check at a higher RPM because it justt wants to stall out as soon as I press on the gas.

Just too let everyone know I firured it out (by accident)
I went to check the air cleaner and box.
I disconnected the MAF sensor I it ran great!!!!.
It did not give me any codes either.
Changing it today.
