'94 Ford Taurus A/C problem - Ford Forums

Hello,

I was wondering if someone can help me by troubleshooting the problem with my Taurus's A/C Compressor. When I switch on the A/C the clutch is not engaging. Does that means that the compressor is broken or could this be a electric problem? If the compressor is broken, how difficult is it to swap the compressor. I have seen it is on the passenger side way on the bottom. Looks like a difficult to reach position.

If it's low on freon the clutch will no receive power.
